Informal employment refers to all those who worked in informal jobs, i.e. who, during the reference period: were employees with no social protection coverage, or with no paid annual leave and/or no paid sick leave; or were employers and own-account workers owners of informal sector enterprises or producing only for own-use production (as households); and all contributing family helpers.

The survey results, at the national, province, and capital city levels, by sub-categories such as age group, sex, classification of economic activities, and status employment e.c, there are a small number of differences between them. Because the survey results are weighted from the SPSS program, and the results are converted from fractions to whole numbers/integers.
Due to the updated methodology for calculating sampling weights in 2024, the quarterly and annual data from 2019 to 2023 have been revised. Please see the following link for introduction.
