Since 2009, estimated using results from the Labour Force Survey. Earlier estimates were based on results from “Annual Reports on Population Employment” prepared by administrative units in aimags and the capital city.
More meta data information
The survey results, at the national, province, and capital city levels, by sub-categories such as age group, sex, classification of economic activities, and status employment e.c, there are a small number of differences between them. Because the survey results are weighted from the SPSS program, and the results are converted from fractions to whole numbers/integers. Due to the updated methodology for calculating sampling weights in 2024, the quarterly and annual data from 2019 to 2023 have been revised.
