About table
Calculation method
Monthly indicator of economic growth is estimated using the production approach, ensuring full consistency with quarterly and annual GDP estimates. The estimation is based on extrapolating value added by industry using monthly basic indicators. The level of each monthly basic indicator is applied to the base indicator (BI) ratio, defined as the ratio of the sectoral basic indicator in the previous year, to derive monthly GDP movements at constant prices. The seasonal adjustment of monthly GDP is compiled using the TRAMO/SEATS method within JDemetra+ (version 2.2.6).
