The outstanding loans granted to individuals and organizations shall be classified by loan quality or maturity status into performing loans, past-due loans, and non-performing loans.

Calculation method
A performing loan refers to a loan whose principal and interest payments are made on time. A past-due loan refers to a loan whose principal or interest payments are overdue by up to 90 days. A non-performing loan (NPL) refers to a substandard, doubtful, or bad loan, meaning a loan whose principal or interest payments are overdue by more than 91 days.A substandard loan refers to a loan whose principal or interest payments are overdue between 91 and 180 days. A doubtful loan refers to a loan whose principal or interest payments are overdue between 181 and 360 days. A bad loan refers to a loan whose principal or interest payments are overdue for more than 361 days.
